- To attend the 4th International Conference on Incineration and Pyrolysis of Waste and Pollutants Control held in Kyoto in September 2006 and visit some universities after the conference.
- To undertake dioxin formation research in US EPA, National Risk Management Research Laboratory (NRMRL) as a senior visiting scholar from October 1, 2003 to December 15, 2003.
- To attend East Asia Environment and Power Conference held in Saitama University in Tokyo as an invited delegate of China in March 2002.
- To attend the 6th International Conference on Power and Environment held in Salzburg of Austria, and visit some Universities and Institutes of France, Austria and Germany such as Rouen University, Duisburg University and complete part of collaboration research program between China and France from May to June, 2002.
