 ZJU-HCM (HITACHI Construction Machinery) Fluid Power Lab, one of the world leading labs for its size, equipments and advanced research, was officially opened on Nov. 2, 1995 by ZJU and HCM.
  The primary research focus of the joint Lab is on the study of fluid power to meet the needs of future construction machinery.
 
 
Memorandum of Understanding was signed on 19th May, 2010 between ZJU and  Queen's University Belfast (UK)
 
 
 
The KTH-ZJU Joint Research Center of Clean Energy was launched on 8th Dec. 2005 in ZJU by Institute of Energy Engineering, ZJU and Kungliga Tekniska hö;gskolan (KTH), the Sweden leading Engineering University. This marks the new era of their collaboration in Clean Energy related research.
The chief scientists of the Lab are eminent academicians Cen Kefa (China) and Torsten Fransson (Sweden).
 
 
 
The opening ceremony of the joint established ZJU – Hifn Network Security SoC Laboratory was held on Feb. 6th , 2004 in ZJU.
The main objective of the joint Lab is net security.

  With the agreement signed by Prof. Yang Wei, ZJU President and Mr. HARUO ITO, the then President and Representative Director of Fuji Electric Holdings Co.,Ltd on 3rd Feb. 2010, the joint Center – ZJU-FUJI Electric Innovation Center was pronounced its opening at ZJU. The Center serves as a platform for both sides in boosting talents cultivation and teaching as well.                              
The opening ceremony of the National Technical University of Ukraine (KPI) – ZJU High - Tech Center was held on 23rd Dec. 2005 at Zhejiang University. The then ZJU President Prof. Pan Yunhe and NTU President Prof. ZgurovskyM.Z. signed the collaboration agreement at the ceremony. This marks the opening of the joint Center.  
The Center works on fields including (1) materials; (2) mechanics; (3) Energy; (4) chemical engineering; (5) shipbuilding; (6) mining; and (7) metallogy.
