modeling, simulation, optimization and control of dynamic systems, primarily chemical processes in industry
maximizing production profit and minimizing environmental pollution from industrial processes

 

Current Projects

The whole-machine whole-speed dynamic balancing theory and method study of Chemical Rotary Machinery (the project was awarded the third-class prize of National Science and Technology Progress in 1992, which is among the highest prizes of China’s science and technology)
Dynamic expand test system of torque converter (Shanghai Clutch Parent Factory, China, 2000-2001)
Dynamic optimization approach for operation of a two-pressure heat-integrated distillation column system (Support by Sandwich scholarship program to Chinese researchers by the Technical University of Berlin, 2002-2004)
Dynamic optimization approach for large-scale process systems (support by National Nature Science foundation of China, 2007-2009 )
