Working Experience

Huan Lin CHEN, male, Professor of Chemical Engineering. In 1975, after having over 5 years work experience on synthesis and separation processes in Xiaoshan Organic Chemicals Factory.
Since 1984, Professor CHEN has focused his research on membranes and membrane processes, especially on pervaporation and affinity membrane separation. In 1994, as a Chinese membrane specialist, he went to England and spent his one and half a year in UMIST. In 2003, Professor CHEN carried out his research work on the membrane separation at Dept. of Chem.Eng. in Ohio State University with Professor Winston Ho.
During the last couple of decades, Professor CHEN has edited two books (in Chinese) and published more than 100 research papers on the membranes and membrane processes.
By now, Professor CHEN is members of Energy Association, Desalination and sea water usage Association of China, and member of heterogeneous separation committee, Chemical Industry & Engineering Society of China. the general secretary of Membrane Society in Zhejiang Province. Also, he has editors of two Journals (J of Membr. Sci. and Technology and J. of environmental Sci. and Technology (in Chinese).

Publication List

During the last couple of decades, Professor CHEN has edited two books (in Chinese) and published more than 150 research papers related on the membranes and membrane processes, Environmental Biotechnology. With his collogues cooperations, he holds more than 20 Chinese patents.
